Williams Hospitality is the lodging division of Williams Investment Company, which is based out of Adel, Georgia. Williams Investment Company owns and operates many different businesses in southern Georgia. These businesses include fourteen hotels, several restaurants (which include Burger Kings, IHOP, Western Sizzlin’, Dairy Queen, Captain D’s Seafood, and Azalea’s as well as non-franchised restaurants.), King Frog Factory Stores, a gasoline distributorship and gasoline outlets, RV parks, apartments, a billboard company, a wetland mitigation bank, as well as commercial, industrial and residential development. In the early 1960’s, our founder, John L. Williams realized that construction of Interstate 75 would change the way Americans travel from north to south, and he wanted to be a part of it. John L. started his family’s endeavor in 1963 in Cecil, Georgia with a small gas station, and later a motel, restaurant and clothing store. For over 45 years, the Williams family has worked together in the hospitality business on I-75 to build a company that satisfies our many guests who stop and visit in Lowndes, Cook and Tift counties year after year. The backbone of Williams Investment Company and Williams Hospitality is successful operation of its hotel/motel holdings. These include Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Comfort Suites, Comfort Inn & Suites, Country Inn & Suites, Days Inns, Super 8’s, Ramada Limited, and several independent operations. All of Williams’ operations are located along I-75 in Valdosta, Adel and Tifton, Georgia. |
